Professional Background & Approach

Robert is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Certified Compulsive Gambling Counselor, and a National Certified Counselor. Robert works with mental health, substance abuse and compulsive gambling issues. Robert earned his master's degree from LaSalle University and received the John J. Rooney Award for Academic Excellence. Robert's training is in Cognitive Behavior Therapy but has developed his own integrative approach borrowing from psychodynamic, schema, motivational interviewing and systems theory. Robert's clinical style is relaxed, collaborative and non-judgmental. Therapy is always at the client's pace.
